Q4 of 2011 was a very busy season for Trump Hollywood as representatives hit the road
From Canada to Brazil to Europe and the Caribbean, real estate brokers and potential buyers learned about the most appealing oceanfront condos for sale in Florida. The result of these visits contributed to the overwhelming success in sales that has earned Trump Hollywood the reputation of being one the best selling real estate developments in South Florida.
Toronto & Montreal
At the end September, representatives of Trump Hollywood’s team, including Developer Greg Freedman, Director of Sales Michael Neumann and Director of Operations at Fortune International Realty Fernando de Nunez, exposed hundreds of Canadians to the property by visiting both Montreal and Toronto.
The week-long series of gatherings included broker and consumer meetings, as well as cocktail events. The gatherings were held at various venues, including Hotel Le Crystal, Cavali Ristorante Bar, Avenue Road, and Thompson Hotel.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
In October, Trump Hollywood hosted an evening soiree in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Nearly fifty of the city’s elite gathered at the trendy M Kitchen + Bar to enjoy a reception while learning about Trump Hollywood. In addition to a great turn out, the event resulted in overwhelming media coverage including two television news programs as well as newspapers Hoy, El Nacional, and El Dia.

Sao Paolo, Brazil
On November 30th Trump Hollywood returned to Brazil for the fourth time in the 2011 calendar year for another successful event at the popular fashion boutique Helena Mottin.
During the same visit, a Miami Showroom was inaugurated at the Elite Brazil headquarters were Fernando de Nunez conducted a training presentation to more than 30 regional sales managers.

Monterrey & Mexico City, Mexico
In early September, the season kicked off in Monterrey where Trump Hollywood was featured during the 5th seminar of the “Mexico Investment Tour” organized by the US-Mexico Chamber of Commerce.
With the assistance of Miami Galleria, Trump Hollywood was presented to a group of savvy Mexican prospective purchasers. Following this, Trump Hollywood visited Mexico City and opened a new showroom at BG Corp in Los Arcos, the most recognized office and retail complex in the country.
On November 13th, Director of Operations at Fortune International Realty Fernando de Nunez visited Madrid for another successful event– a seminar and evening reception with more than 80 people in attendance.
A team of selected brokers led by L3 Investments, Vertical Investments and Banker’s organized the event. The reception was held at the Club Financiero Genova, a social club located at the Penthouse level overlooking the Castellana Avenue.
Organized by Federico Cittoni and Sergio Waissmann from Fortune International, Trump Hollywood representatives returned to Europe in December to join more than 50 Italians at the Circolo Canottieri Roma, a unique venue home to a popular rowing club by the Tevere.
To complete the season, Fernando de Nunez ventured through the City of Love to visit more than 15 broker offices to present Trump Hollywood. Most recently, South Florida has become increasingly appealing to locals due to high Parisian real estate prices, the increased uncertainty in the Euro Zone, and the softening of the Euro.

Trump Hollywood Ignites Miami’s Second Condo Boom

International buyers at Trump Hollywood and condos throughout South Florida are creating a “Miami Condo Boom 2.0,” according to World Property Channel.
Today’s condo buyers are mostly foreigners who pay in cash, unlike the previous Miami condo booms. The National Association of Realtors (NAR) reports that the total residential international sales in the U.S. for the past year ending March 2011 equaled $82 billion, up from $66 billion in 2010.
While many of Trump Hollywood’s buyers are South American (click the chart to the right for a full size version), total sales from all buyers have accumulated to $100 million in 2011 alone.
Our very own Greg Freedman of BH3 said, “of the $100 million in recent condo sales that we’ve experienced in 2011 so far, about 45% was from international buyers, mainly from Canada and Latin America.”
Freedman added, “We also are seeing a number of local buyers as well. There use to be a ‘season’ for selling luxury condos in Miami and that is no longer the case. It is a year-round season with the combination of local, northeastern and international buyers coming to us continually.”
South Florida condo sales are rising so quickly, by 2012 World Property Channel reports that there could be a possible “condo shortage,” with no 2005-2006 construction inventories remaining.
